When Grace contacted me for a photo session, she wanted to have photos to celebrate her wedding anniversary, but as we started to chat, she decided she needed photos for personal branding and some photos of just herself.

I’m so honored to feature Grace today.

Grace, share a little bit about yourself.

I am a very independent person who is now a newlywed. I spent many years fending for myself and am now adjusting to a new life! I still feel very much like the solo chick!

What does this photo session mean to you, and why?

it’s been five years since my last and only studio shoot- that last shoot was my 32nd birthday, and I had a feeling that it was my last year being single - 6 months later, I met my now husband.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

Be kinder to yourself.

I have gotten to know Grace, and I can see why her friends and family describe her as influential, impactful, and independent. I loved working with her and her husband, Jack. I’m thankful they chose me to capture these images I am sure they will treasure and cherish for a lifetime.
